Robin L. Rothman is a Senior Global Real Estate Advisor and Associate Broker with Sotheby’s International Realty in New York City. She is a seasoned professional with over 25 years in luxury real estate sales and has earned a reputation for integrity and excellence. Robin has been an honored recipient of one of the Real Estate Board of New York’s most prestigious awards, Deal of the Year.
Robin has negotiated and realized some of the highest prices ever received for Manhattan residences. She has extensive experience selling luxury properties throughout the New York tri-state area. Her background in real estate goes back many years, handling private banking clients at the top end of the luxury real estate market. Having spent a great deal of time over the years in Europe, she has a large European client base as well as a vast and impressive American network of clients. Earlier in her career, she owned and operated Paramount Properties and Paramount Properties International, which specialized in Citibank R.E. holdings and the $10+ million accounts in New York, Connecticut, and California.
Robin has chaired many philanthropic events in New York City, raising much needed funding for numerous charities. Recognized by her peers for her philanthropy and support, she has been honored by The Harvard Club and The PKD Foundation. Over the years, she has also lobbied and testified on Capitol Hill for medical research. Robin has a well-rounded and thoughtful social network of friends in the arts, medicine, philanthropy, and social justice. Her clientele includes many captains of industry both here and abroad, including fund managers, real estate developers, investors, designers, and referrals from both Sotheby’s and Christie’s Auction Houses. She has built a level of trust and commitment with those she has worked with because of her tireless efforts, integrity, and negotiation skills.
Robin was educated at Pace University, where she studied business and economics, and continued on to New York University. Robin is one of the first members of the Real Estate Board of New York to achieve the status of New York Real Estate Specialist. She is also a Certified 1031 Tax Exchange Specialist.
