This is our second time using Roger and Christal Browning at Four Seasons Realty, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision to work with them again. We worked primarily with Christal, and she was top notch—just as she was our first time working with her!

From our first time working with Christal, we knew she was quite knowledgeable about the Lexington housing market. This time, we were selling the home we previously bought with Christal as our realtor. It is worth mentioning, however, that even after we purchased our home (with Christal as our realtor), Christal kept in regular contact through newsletters and occasionally reaching out to check on us. Whenever we needed help, we could always reach out to Christal and she would connect us with a professional in her network—a plumber, a handyman, painter, tile expert, whatever. She had it all covered. This was all still true when we recently worked with Christal to sell our home.

Although we kept our home in pretty good shape, we relied on Christal’s knowledge of trends in the housing market to help guide us. In our first meeting, she came prepared with housing comps (i.e., prices of recently sold homes) of similar homes and presented us with multiple options for what we could do to increase our home’s appeal. Christal was extremely thorough with the potential action plans she presented. Not only would she explain the rationale behind each option, but she also gave ballpark cost estimates, she provided contact information for people or companies that could do any necessary work, and she set expectations for what each option would potentially yield in the market. She made sure we had every piece of information we’d need to make an informed decision, and she was careful to assure us that she was supportive of whatever option made the most sense for our situation. It truly was a collaboration, which is one of the special touches you get when working with Christal—she knows her stuff, but she doesn’t force it on you. She gives you information and supports your choices, which was important for us.

Needless to say, after consulting with Christal (beginning in mid-December), taking her suggestions, and using her professional contacts for the improvements, we were able to get our house on the market by early Spring (early March). At the time, the average home was on the market for up to 60 days. We had multiple interested parties within one day, and an offer within two, and closed one month later (April) at a price that was pretty close to our original listing price. This was all able to happen because of Christal’s guidance. Christal helped us navigate the home inspection process, again, using her professional contacts to help with fixes/repairs. Additionally, we could contact her anytime and she was readily available if we had questions. She was timely with communication to everyone, including us (the sellers), the potential buyers and their realtor, and contractors doing any work on the home (that she would sometimes arrange). Christal really is a one-stop shop. She can do it all! And she does it with elegance, grace, and charisma. Because of Christal, our process was seamless. A couple serious issues came up at times that could have jeopardized the sale, but Christal, with her experience and perspective, was able to manage them in such a way that didn’t threaten our offer. A lesser realtor would have fumbled some of the unexpected curveballs we were thrown throughout this process.

All this is to say, if you need to buy or sell a house, you can’t go wrong with Christal and Four Seasons Realty. She’s truly the best of the best!

Our Experience with Four Seasons Realty/ Mr Roger Browning was Absolutely Amazing!!! Roger was Patient and Understanding of Our Needs and His Professional advice was not only easy to understand but was spot on. My Father (@ 89 yrs young and Army Veteran) wanted to find a reputable Realtor to sell the home that was to be His and My Mother's last after she past in 2023. In less than 2 months We closed.
