Rose Walker

Rose is a long-time resident of Delaware. As a child, she moved to Newark, Delaware from New Jersey and remained in the area most of her life. She graduated from Newark High and the University of Delaware with a degree in early childhood education. She taught school briefly in the Newark area, but most of her corporate work experience was in sales and marketing with DuPont and W.L. Gore & Associates, large corporations in northern Delaware.

Rose realized one of her dreams and relocated to South Bethany in 1996 and began a new career in real estate in 1997. She is now a full-time resort sales Realtor® with Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate Coastal Offices. Her long experience living in Delaware and the Resort area have given her a wealth of knowledge about the communities and the changes which have taken place in the market. She has earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations, both of which require many sales and many hours of continuing education.

Rose has over twenty-five years of experience as a Realtor® in this area and over thirty years of experience in customer service and contract negotiations. As an active, local agent, she is available to address all of your real estate needs. You can count on her to give you non-stop professional service. The teacher in her still finds pleasure in helping her clients learn about the market in this area and helping them achieve their real estate dreams. Real estate is a seven day a week job but she finds time to volunteer for Meals-On-Wheels and take walks on the beach with her 3 rescue labs. She feels these things help keep her in shape and in touch with her community.
