Background:
Ryan Oppelt is a life-long resident of the capital region. He was born in Schenectady in 1981 and has lived in Rotterdam, Esperance, Troy, and Latham. Growing up in a large family which consisted of professional office workers and tradesmen, Ryan is no stranger to hard work and ethics. By the time he was 23, he prepared to purchase his first two-family/investment home in Maplewood, which he lived in with his family, until 2019. His current residence is in Latham, which he purchased with his wife, in November of 2019. Familiar with the comforts and chaos that accompanies large families, Ryan is the father of three young children, and various pets.
While working in his current, full-time position as an IT professional for the Office of Court Administration, he discovered a fascination and passion for real estate investing in 2016 and has been expanding his knowledge in the field since. Ryan’s goal is to pursue a full-time career in real estate, through acquisition of more rental property, full renovations/flips, and representing buyers and sellers. Being a landlord and renovating two properties has given Ryan extensive knowledge in operations associated with rental property as well as home maintenance, repairs, and renovations.

Likes to spend his free time pursuing many interests such as DIY home improvement, hiking, camping with his family, rock climbing, attempting to play guitar, tinkering with electronics, a love for all things automotive, as well as enjoying the many freedoms our great country guarantees.
