Ryan Rothstein-Serling is a Managing Director Investments at Marcus & Millichap, based in the firm’s Encino office. Since joining in 2014 as a full-time Investment Associate, Ryan has leveraged his strong work ethic, competitive drive, and deep market knowledge to become a leading Commercial Real Estate Specialist throughout Los Angeles County.
With more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate, Ryan has cultivated strong, long-standing relationships with property owners throughout Los Angeles and consistently delivered outstanding results for his clients. In 2016, after surpassing $60 million in sales and earning Senior Associate status, he partnered with Martin Agnew to form the Agnew | Serling Group. Under their joint leadership, the team has expanded significantly and now includes four agents and support staff, whom they actively mentor and manage.
To date, the Agnew | Serling Group has closed more than $1 billion in total sales and leased over 500,000 square feet across 350+ transactions. Ryan was promoted to First Vice President Investments in 2020 and Managing Director Investments in 2025. He is a multi-year recipient of Marcus & Millichap’s Sales Recognition Award, honored in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024.
Before joining Marcus & Millichap, Ryan worked in commercial property management at Charles Dunn Real Estate Services, overseeing a portfolio exceeding 5 million square feet of industrial, office, and retail assets. He also honed his financial underwriting expertise at Lone Oak Fund, LLC, a direct portfolio lender specializing in short-term bridge loans secured by California real estate. As both a real estate advisor and investment property owner himself, Ryan brings a well-rounded, investor-focused perspective to every transaction.
Ryan graduated with honors from Ithaca College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management and a minor in Economics.
