Sara was born in Oregon and moved to rural Alaska at the age of two during the construction boom of the early 80s. Her family moved to Anchorage five years later where Sara was raised and graduated from West High School. Sara is married to an Alaska Airlines pilot, and they have three children. Sara’s broad professional history has involved working at various real estate companies in administrative roles but after a successful career in project accounting, she decided to become a Realtor. Sara was awarded RE/MAX Dynamic Properties’ Rookie of the Year award for 2017.
Sara Sturgeon is also an Accredited Buyers Representative. ABRs are designated by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, which is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. After a thorough training and accreditation process, ABRs receive special distinction for providing quality representation to home buyers. Buyers who hire an ABR receive personalized representation throughout the home-buying process that ensures a fair and ethical transaction. Buyers have an advantage when using an ABR, because the buyer’s representative seeks to protect the home buyer, not the seller. An ABR also helps the buyer by researching homes available on the market, suggesting a realistic offer price, and assisting with the negotiation process.
