In this insane housing market, I likely looked at over 100 homes over the course of a few months with Schwanda, and got excited about several, only to put offers in and be outbid by all cash offers. I was feeling incredibly discouraged, but Schwanda was the voice of reason that encouraged me to keep looking, and I am so glad she did because I finally found a perfect home for me with her help! Schwanda is very responsive, honest, trustworthy, never pushy, always had my best interests in mind, and not once did she roll hers eyes at my “I’m going to be doomed and living in a box on Main Street or in my mothers basement” comments (and trust me, there were plenty of them- so that’s saying something!) I am so incredibly grateful for all of her help and perseverance in finding my amazing home!

Schwanda made my home selling experience smooth, easy and not stressful. Not only is she detail oriented, staying on top of everything to ensure closing was done on time, the house was under contract within a few days of listing at $60,000 above asking! She offered great advice on how to prepare the house prior to listing and showing. I don't think the house would have sold as quickly or at that value without her taking the lead! I highly recommend working with schwanda, as a buyer or a seller, I know I'll be using her for all my future real estate transactions!

When my wife and I were ready to move out of our rental and start looking to buy a home we were recommended by a friend to contact Schwanda.  It was our first home buying experience and we were a bit nervous and overwhelmed.  We had a vague idea of what we were looking for but had no clue where to begin.  Schwanda was very helpful, showing us multiple homes and helping us narrow down our search.  She was professional, knowledgeable and always a ray of sunshine.  When we did find our dream home, Schwanda made sure it was ours.  She worked hard to make sure all the details were taken care of and that we got the best deal.  We closed in no time and we couldn't have done it with out her help.

My husband and I just closed on our dream home today with the help of Schwanda Johann and her team at Steps. Schwanda made the process incredibly easy for us and took steps that many other realtors don't (but should), making us feel more like family than clients. From the beginning, Schwanda was responsive, patient, and accommodating when it came to setting up showings.
