Scott Conway’s fondness for old homes initially drew him to a career in real estate. A longtime resident of San Francisco, Scott has always been inspired by the craftsmanship of the city’s houses and the vibrancy they add to its diverse neighborhoods. After buying and remodeling three homes of his own, one thing led to another, and Scott knew he had the experience and know-how to help others achieve their buying and selling goals.
With an easygoing, friendly personality, Scott makes every client feel like he’s an old friend, and he brings a breadth of experience to the Legacy Real Estate team. For many years, Scott worked as a sales representative for the tech industry and followed that up by owning and running a successful restaurant. Both jobs taught him how to build relationships and lead effectively, as well as the importance of customer service. Additionally, as a regional manager for a co-living housing startup, where he oversaw a team of eleven maintenance techs, Scott gained insight into the mechanics of a home, which allows him to pinpoint potential issues for his clients. He also worked for several years in mortgage sales and is NMLS certified.
Scott hails from a small town in the Southern San Joaquin Valley. He’s lived in Bernal Heights for over twenty years and believes that it’s the hippest village in San Francisco—full of the small-town charm he loves. When he’s not working, he stays active in his community, enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, and likes to unwind by singing and playing music. Scott is also an avid traveler, and once spent five years on sabbatical visiting various places abroad.
