In Scott's spare time, he enjoys giving back, competing and cooking. He runs his own charity, Heroes for Heroes (www.heroesforheroes.org) raising money for the down payment of a home for veterans, active duty military, and teachers through endurance racing. He also runs an annual Holiday Food Drive benefiting the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. In 2018, they collected over 400 lbs. of food for the less fortunate. They smashed this record in 2019, collecting 880 lbs. of food. After training and competing, he is a master on the grill and smoker. Smoked prime rib is his current go to meal on the weekends.
