Born and raised in La Jolla, CA, Scott's life has come full circle joining the prestigious Team at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the heart of La Jolla Village. He was fortunate to grow up in the Muirlands area where he met numerous families who's friendships he has maintained throughout his life. He attended La Jolla Country Day, La Jolla Elementary, Muirlands Junior High and graduated from La Jolla High in 1982. From there, he earned his B.S. in Urban & Regional Planning from The University of Southern California.
Growing up in La Jolla, Scott participated in many team Sports at the La Jolla Recreation Center, La Jolla YMCA and La Jolla High School including Baseball, Basketball, Football and Tennis where he learned the positives in life from competition and team play. Living so close to Wind n' Sea and Sea Lane, he certainly had one of the better "back yards" a child could ever grow up with.
Scott's professional career has been very diversified ranging from the building of custom Homes in the Jack Nicklaus designed Bear Creek Golf & Country Club in Murrieta, CA to sales relating to oxygen therapy and sleep apnea in Southern California. He has a wonderful wife, Marcela Mendez, who is a well known singer/entertainer here in San Diego. From day one, he assumed the responsibilities of being her "Stage Mom". He is in charge of all of her marketing and PR. You can catch Marcela singing at Herringbone La Jolla typically every month. Music has always been a passion of his and he is so proud of how far she has come and the entertainer she is today.
Being able to call La Jolla home is something he will always be proud of.
