When it comes to very complex processes and a lot of money on the line, you need someone you can trust 100% to guide you in the right direction based on your personal needs - and Scott is that guy. Scott Rees is the best realtor we’ve ever worked with in over 40 years as homeowners. He helped us buy a home in San Jose in 2010 – working with us for 3 years as the market crashed and recovered slowly.

We met Scott at an open house and he spent a lot of time explaining the process of buying a house to us. When we were ready to buy, we reached out to him. Scott listened and understood our requirements and concerns, and even suggested areas that we hadn’t even considered. He is very plugged in the market and knows his area very well, which allowed us to make a very reasonable offer and avoid overbidding on our home.

The process of buying and selling your perfect property can be overwhelming, with all the vast variety of properties available, and the ever changing laws, requirements, and loopholes in the real estate world. Scott helped with the sale of our house a couple years ago. He was great with the preparation of getting the house on the market and keeping us informed through the whole process. In 2020 I decided I was ready to buy. I'm not sure Scott realized what he was getting himself into. He probably showed me at least 30 houses before I made a decision. Scott was always positive and patient even when he knew the house was not the right fit for me. Scott is very professional and knowledgeable. He pointed things out that I would have never thought to look for. If you are looking for an amazing agent, look no further Scott is your guy.

We met Scott at an open house pre-covid and hit it off right away. It took some time for us to find a house we loved, but we found it! We never felt pressured to hurry up and Scott was patient every step of the way. He helped sell our home and buy a new one in the hot market of 2020. With Scott's expertise, we received multiple offers and sold our home within six days and with his savvy negotiation, we purchased our new home below what the market was going for in our desired location. It had been quite some time since we had moved last and Scott did a wonderful job of explaining each step of the process, managing our expectations, and answering all of our questions. I'll start with the pretense that In general I find myself to be a somewhat demanding customer especially in real estate given I have purchased 8 properties to date and sold 1 primary and one vacation home to date. I had the opportunity to work with Scott Rees on selling our previous primary home in the Rose Garden and then finding our new primary home in the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno foothills. First and foremost Scott was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process and gives you the experience that you are his top priority at all times. I also found him to be highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the business including the mortgage and title elements. One of the things that highly impressed me is that he proactively and effectively manages every aspect of the deal from start to finish and understands what it takes to make sure your deal closes. Additionally what really differentiated Scott is that he was able to leverage his expansive relationships with other real estate professionals such as property stagers to inform us about homes that were coming to the market before they were even listed on MLS and this is ultimately what got us the home of our dreams. I highly recommend Scott to anyone looking to sell or purchase a home.

We can't say enough about our agent Scott Rees. He represented us 3 years ago with the sale of our condo. He prepped our condo and sold it fast at the best price in all of Cupertino. We found Scott through sheer luck: just walked into the Sereno office one evening and he was the last person there, which tells you something already. Over the course of a year+, as we worked through a complicated relocation from the East Coast (made even more complicated by COVID19), Scott patiently worked with us during multiple visits and even showed us houses remotely.

Scott took the time to understand our unique set of needs and find homes that would accommodate them. Throughout this time, our thoughts on location and price were something of a moving target, but Scott was unfazed, finding listings for us and candidly sharing his thoughts about the many properties we saw. He took us on so many tours in search of the perfect home, in different neighborhoods throughout Silicon Valley, we lost count.

Scott possesses an expert knowledge of building and construction that complements his expertise in real estate. He also has extensive connections in the area and used his personal network to help us at every step. He put us in touch with lenders, lawyers, and contractors. He helped us get answers to questions ranging from the costs of building and remodeling to more specific issues, which was enormously helpful for our decision-making process.

He's also a master negotiator! When a house we were interested in was about to get another offer, he hustled to make sure we didn't lose it; when we determined it wasn't the one, he helped us through that process too. Ultimately we found the right house and he moved mountains to get the price we need.

Throughout all this, he was genuinely fun to spend time with. He's good humored and perceptive about people. At the end of the day, finding real estate in CA is like going to the dentist. You know it is going to suck, and just hope it will just be as painless as possible. If there was one thing that made it all bearable, and sometimes even kinda fun, it was Scott Rees.

After my mother passed away at the end of December, we were so fortunate to find Scott. Even though we had just sold our own home last year, we were all at sea about how to handle this situation. Our dream was to find a buyer who would love and care for the home as mom did during her fifty years living in it. We also needed a professional who understood the market, the neighborhood, and who could help us navigate this difficult process. Scott was knowledgeable, efficient, timely, and a great communicator. He found resources to help us ready the house for sale. He provided an honest and perfect description of the property. His attention to detail was spot on.
