We had a bad experience with a previous realtor and a co worker told me about Shanan. Once I reached out to Shanan; she got to work right away! She was very responsive on answering questions and sending emails of properties. She asked the necessary questions that helped her find us exactly what we needed. Thrive Realty’s Shanan Shepherd was the ultimate professional, full of integrity and honesty, and easy to work with. She was so helpful even before we hired her as our agent —- when she didn’t have to be! I can’t fully express my appreciation for the noticeable experience she showed while negotiating with the buyers and their agents. We had an issue with a primary offer and a backup offer where the primary could not get financing. She helped us through the transition to the backup offer and gave us excellent advice. We also found her very respectful of our desires and opinions, and was very willing to go with what we wanted while also stressing what she felt was best. My girlfriend and I just graduated college and were looking to move into a house. We first thought about renting, and then met with Tamara Nelson who advised us how great the market is to buy a house right now! She is a close friend of my mother and quickly became a second mother to us throughout the process! We found a house early on and started the paperwork process strong. Unfortunately, the Home builder representative and lender did not fill out their paperwork in time and caused some delay. Tamara immediately moved to action and did everything she could to minimize the delay! She knows how to bring the hammer down and speed up the process if anyone on the home builder's side drops the ball! Even with Tamara's busy schedule and new complications that COVID-19 is adding to the process, Tamara would always put aside what she was doing to answer my calls or texts. I would have never thought I could afford to move into the house that we received. Tamara made it all possible and even included some added benefits like free appliances, window shades, and a garage lift! If it wasn't for her, I feel like the closing process would have fallen apart multiple times! You will be in great hands working with Shepherd Nelson Realty!

I cannot say enough good things about Jason Dishong and his generosity of time and how much he cared about our family in the process. We were moving six children to Leander and let me tell you, it was scary as we came down the wire. Jason fought for us when we were among several applicants interested in a house, and when we weren't approved, he encouraged us that a better house was out there. We found a wonderful house 9 days before our move and it perfectly suits the needs of our family. We were very picky about size and location, and we're grateful to Jason for sticking it out with us!
