Originally from Huntington, IN, she has called Fort Wayne home for over 25 years. Married for over 30 years to her husband, Pete, they have 5 children and 1 grandson. They are parishioners at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. While raising their children, she worked part-time for the Jorgensen YMCA as a Financial Coordinator. She also coached basketball, was the Treasurer of her Home Association Board, chaired numerous school events, was a Girl Scout Leader, taught Religious Education, and worked as a fundraiser and volunteer for various charities. She has served on the Board of Directors for both LifeLine, Youth and Family Services, and Crosswinds. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
