Shannon Van Wyk is such a pleasure to work with. I’ve rented multiple homes before and she is hands down the best person that I’ve rented from.

Her consistent responsiveness to any issue that I had was pretty remarkable. As a homeowner she was unintrusive and incredibly respectful of the home that I rented and I will always be thankful. I would work with Shannon again in a heartbeat!

Shannon showed me only two homes, both of which were just what I was looking for. My offer on the first home was not accepted because of a simultaneous cash offer. Although it was a disappointment at the time, it turned out to be a positive result because the next home Shannon found for me was even better than the first. My offer was accepted almost immediately, Shannon guided me through the paperwork to closing, and I’m now happily settled in the wonderful home Shannon found for me!

Shannon is extremely knowledgeable about North County San Diego. As anyone who has house hunted in the area knows - it can be extremely difficult to find a property that checks most of the boxes. We were moving from out of state and Shannon took the time to understand what we were looking for and was in constant communication during the process. We ultimately found a great home, in a fantastic family neighborhood in Encinitas. I would highly recommend Shannon to anyone searching for a new home.

Shannon recently found us our dream home in the La Costa neighborhood of Carlsbad. She deserves 10 stars! She was nothing short of amazing to work with. Buying a home in a competitive market with low inventory during a pandemic was no easy feat but Shannon got the job done! Her patience and calming demeanor makes her so pleasant to work with. Shannon was incredible! She helped us through every step of the process of selling our previous home and purchasing a new one! She had expert knowledge of our area and was able to work with us to sell our home at above market prices and purchase our new home in an extremely hot market at a below market rate. Shannon worked with us both on our first house and on our current house. These were two very different situations: one where she focused on helping us understand what we were actually looking for and guiding us as first time buyers through an unknown situation, and the second one, where we knew what we wanted, but had to navigate multiple contingencies, a tricky lending situation and lots of completely unforeseen issues. Shannon mastered both of these scenarios skillfully, and I can safely say that without her, we would not be living in our dream house today. Shannon doesn’t just understand the market and the ins and outs of her trade. Her suburb people skills, her ability to listen and her amazing intuition allow her to navigate difficult situations and align the stakeholders. Shannon is genuinely interested in her clients and in all parties involved in the transaction. She is very empathetic, but she is always straightforward and won’t lead you down a wrong path. She is a masterful negotiator and she has an impressive Rolodex - from your lender, escrow officer, appraiser to handymen or painters: if they come recommended through Shannon they will be excellent resources, and she has most likely already negotiated the best rate – she can’t help herself! Shannon goes above and beyond for her clients, and I recommend her wholeheartedly.
