She is a proud military spouse of 30 years, having lived in many different parts of the country, but choosing to call Williamsburg home. Her experience as an Army spouse provided her with numerous opportunities to live, work, and raise a family all over the world. Moving and turning a house into a home is nothing new to Team Visser. She and her husband, Phil, have moved nineteen times in their 36 years of marriage. They take great pride in being the parents of six wonderful children: Ashley, Brittney, Matthew, Caleb, Joshua, and Alleigh.
She has dedicated most of her time to raising her children and volunteering in their activities, as well as being actively involved in organizations she is passionate about. Her community involvement includes organizations such as the American Red Cross, Armed Force YMCA, Protestant Women of the Chapel, Hope Pregnancy Center, and Neighbor 2 Neighbor.
As a Realtor, she has developed new interests, serving as a member and Chairperson of the Williamsburg Area Associate of Realtors Outreach and the Public Policy and Realtor Political Action Committee. She and her husband are also active members of the Williamsburg Community Chapel.
While she has always had an interest in Real Estate, she became a Realtor five years ago and discovered that it is a perfect fit for her. She has continued her education by obtaining her Broker's license at the earliest opportunity, and she holds multiple certifications and designations that enable her to better serve her clients, including Military Relocation Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Luxury Collection Specialist, and, most recently, Certified Staging Advocate from the Real Estate Staging Association.
She thoroughly enjoys working with people and assisting them in finding the perfect house to make their home.
