Born and raised in Greeley, Sonja and her husband are proud to be raising their growing family here and nurturing their businesses to help grow their community. Their spitfire daughter Brynlee and their sweet son Preston, help them to feel alive and enjoy the little things when they center themselves back at home. Like most working families, they juggle their time between work and home and savor the moments when they can splash in the pool, muse over worms while gardening, or sit on their patio and watch the kids play, too.
Sonja and her husband are entrepreneurs at heart. In addition to her real estate career, her family owns and operates six independent businesses with several locations in Greeley and Northern Colorado. The spirit of being entrepreneurs is part of what drives her and her family to work hard, give back to their community, and achieve their dreams.
Commitment to excellence underlies all that Sonja does. In order to be at the cutting edge and be of the best service to her clients, she thinks it is necessary to be continually educating herself in all aspects of real estate. It is important to her to be a resource not only for her clients, but for everyone in her community.
Sonja finds great pride in her work and treat every transaction as if it were for her own family or best friend. It is important to her to work alongside and be led by her clients while guiding them through their transaction. A closing agent once asked how she had met a client. Sonja told her that she had met them at an open house. She looked stunned at the answer and when Sonja questioned her further, she said, “I just always feel Like you have known every one of your clients for your entire life.”
Sonja hopes is that her attention to detail will create lifelong trusting relationships with her clients and that they can make Northern Colorado even more of a tight-knit, successful community.
At the root of what Sonja does, she believes a home is not just bricks and mortar. A home represents dreams, the comfort, the safety, and is a gathering place. It literally houses people’s goals, retirement, and their pursuit of the American dream. A house is the center of their collective lives, whether it is the house one calls their home or a property they own as an investment. Really, aren’t all homes the center of a community, the schools, the daycares, the doctors, relationships and connections?
