Interpersonal relationships were key to Statia’s success as a portrait photographer, first working with celebrities for publications such as Rolling Stone, Spin, and the Village Voice, and then transitioning into corporate photography. However, Statia’s passion for real estate was brewing all the while. Statia went to open houses just for fun and helped numerous friends find apartments across the city until finally deciding to get her real estate license and turn her other passion into a full-time career. Originally from Long Island, Statia has lived in Brooklyn for the past two decades and specializes in neighborhoods such as Park Slope, Gowanus, Windsor Terrace, and Greenwood. However, her knowledge of the market expanded throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. In addition to her passion for helping clients find the homes of their dreams, Statia volunteers at the Brooklyn Cat Café and other animal rescue organizations. She graduated from James Madison University in Virginia with a B.A. in Media Arts & Design. Statia currently lives with her family in vibrant Gowanus.
