Steve founded Rare Form in 2006 as a brokerage focused on creating a movement around the culture and awareness surrounding period homes from 1900-1940. the preamble for establishing “purveyors of classic homes” was a derived appreciation for the union-built eras of architecture which became the focus of his first 3-4 investments in Kingfield, Lyndale, & East Nokomis following the mortgage crisis.

The primary focus of rare form is rooted in developing equity for our clients, data proves consistent appreciation is linked to the scarcity of original architecture, this became the aim of all our investment guidance across mediums from starter homes to forever legacy estates.
