Steven Gonzales

Steve Gonzales is the broker and owner of CHAMPION Real Estate located in the "Old Town" section of Orcutt, California. Originally from Los Angeles, Steve has lived on the central coast since 1975 in Santa Barbara, Shell Beach and Orcutt (Santa Maria). An engineer for several years with Hughes Aircraft, Steve has been a top real estate agent on the central coast since 1988 and has managed and/or owned a real estate office since 2001. Steve was one of several top producers for WHY USA Preferred Properties of Santa Maria from 1992-2006. He also managed that same WHY USA office for 4 years (2001-2004).

Steve was co-owner of Cornerstone Real Estate, along with broker Tim Gayda, from August 2006 through December 2011. Their partnership operated 2 offices, Shell Beach and Santa Maria, Calif. Steve and Tim separated the offices in January of 2012 and Steve became sole owner of the Santa Maria Cornerstone.

Steve changed the company name to CHAMPION Real Estate and relocated the office to Old Town Orcutt in July of 2016. A great deal of Steve's success has come from his commitment to listening to the true needs of his clients and works diligently to meet their goals.
