I could not be more impressed with the service I received from Susan Shell! Not only did she help us sell our townhome, she worked with us ahead of time on improvements that would increase the home's value. She partners with a contractor who was extremely reasonably priced who performed improvements in record time. She also has a decorator who arranged for beautiful staging. We had 8 offers in 3 days! Susan organized the offers expertly and had already done extensive negotiations to clear up questions before bringing them to us. Susan was not the cheapest realtor, but unquestionably worth the commission. I highly recommend!

Readers of this review should know I came into this a skeptic when it comes to the real estate process. How could it possibly be worth the amount of money agents charge for their services - especially in this market?!?

Then we started working with Susan and she proved herself to be worth every penny. The average agent might not be worth the money, but Susan absolutely was! There were so many things she brought to the table at key moments that we didn't even realize was necessary! From negotiations on the purchase to setting the price on the sale... from dialing in the staging process to optimize the outcome to communicating with the buyer and helping to find providers at the last minute who could spruce up the home with paint, etc. If you're like me and you don't do a lot of buying and selling of homes, you may come into this thinking it's relatively straight-forward. It's not. But if you partner with Susan, you'll have someone in your corner who can get you across the finish line with the best possible outcome. If her schedule allows you to bring her onto your home buying/selling team, hire Susan!!!

From the time we called her for information on selling our home, to the time we closed was less than eight weeks (and in the middle of a pandemic)! We stumbled upon the Ken Caryl Valley neighborhood and Susan’s name when looking online. We were living in Arizona and moving in the coming months for my husbands job. I called Susan and spoke with her a couple times about what we were looking for in a home. She was professional and quick to respond with any questions we had. A little bit about us: Husband and wife from Chicago with two little children relocating to the Denver. We needed an agent who knew many areas but since we were pretty set on Littleton, wanted someone who was mainly an expert in this area.

We found Susan on Zillow back in the spring after seeing her overwhelmingly great reviews. We had visited Littleton only a couple of times, knew the schools were great, the views greater, but had lots to learn before fully settling.

I remember my first conversation with Susan - she called me back immediately, always a plus in my book. I had already spoken to 3 other agents prior to finding Susan, and they all seemed very rushed and there was definitely some carelessness. This was a big decision for us to move cross-country and we needed someone who showed compassion and excitement, and asked all the right questions and Susan was that person.

A month later, we flew out to meet Susan and have her show us houses. We had a jam-packed week full of house showings, and although we didn't buy anything that week due to some delays in our own house's selling, what we loved most about that experience with Susan was she didn't just go house-to-house, she actually devoted quite a bit of time showing us the area. We would frequently stop at different parks, or clubhouses especially in Ken Caryl, and we'd walk around, she would give specific details about HOAs, programs for the kids, etc. We felt like we were really getting to know the area, not just the houses.

When it came time to fly back out and finally pick a home, it was just myself, and ultimately we found an amazing home with Susan. In a tough and competitive market, where inventory goes quick, we got the home we wanted and we've been so happy in just the month we've lived here. Susan was a huge part of that process and we're thankful to have worked with her. Highly recommended!

I chose Susan Schell as my realtor because I had heard wonderful things about her work and her relationship with her clients. I went into the experience very nervous because I was leaving the neighborhood I had been in for 18 years and where I raised my children.
