Taira Doherty

Taira Doherty comes from a family tradition in real estate. As a child, she often assisted her father who has been in residential sales and management for more than 30 years. A native of Chicago, Taira became a full-time broker nearly a decade ago. Taira's husband is an established developer, specializing in custom single-family homes. With her extensive knowledge of the city and its surrounding suburbs, and her vast experience in residential sales (especially new construction), she is uniquely qualified to help her client partners accomplish their goals.

Prior to real estate, Taira worked as a Special Investigator performing complex background checks on existing government employees, and screening new candidates. Taira graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.

Taira lives with her husband and two children in Park Ridge, IL, a suburb bordering Chicago's northwest side. She enjoys running along the nearby trails, gardening, playing sports with her family, and exploring new restaurants throughout the city and surrounding areas.
