Before real estate Teri had a career in television news and worked for WHDH-TV (NBC) for many years as well as WBZ-TV. She received her MBA from Babson College and a BA from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. She grew up locally in Wayland and now lives in Wellesley with her husband and three young daughters, Alexandra, Anna and Eliza.
