Edit 7/15/2022: We've worked with Dawn and Tim in the past when we originally purchased a house and had such an amazing experience with them that we wanted to work with them again to sell the house. Even over a year later, we still felt like family with them going through the whole process. We had moved out of state, but they handled every step of the process for us and kept us updated with everything. They really took a huge burden off of our shoulders going through this extensive process. They continuously kept us updated on everything and went above and beyond handling everything that needed to be done. I really would not know how it could have worked without them. I could not recommend them enough to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.

9/2020: Tim was amazing, friendly, and very professional; definitely a pleasure to work with. First-time homebuying can be extremely nerve-wrecking and confusing, but Tim was there every step of the way and helped guide us through the whole process. He put all of our concerns to ease and brought up quite a few points that we had not even considered when looking at homes. The market was a bit hectic at the time, but Tim stuck through with us until we finally found the right one and was with us all the way through signing. Would easily recommend to anyone looking to purchase a home, first time or even having already experienced the process. Tim and Dawn go above and beyond! They will exceed all of your expectations and deliver results no matter the situation.
I have bought a property with them, they managed a property that I have rented out, and I sold two properties with them. I couldn’t have asked for more or be any more pleased with the outcome in every situation. This last property that I listed with them had a few issues with the buyers side, but Tim and Dawn got it done!!! WHILE I was out of state. Any other realtor in the world would have delayed closing due to the difficult nature of this particular property.
They are no longer (and haven’t been in quite sometime) just my realtors, but great friends.

Tim is very knowledgeable about every area and how they are being up kept, construction, tolls, entire neighborhoods. He helped me get into houses that were still being built that were no where near done. I don’t imagine myself being the best customer but they worked with me the entire way through. Dawn is a genius when it came to the specific wording and making the offers I was comfortable with. It took a minute but I got a really great house. I have worked with Dawn since 2016. I am military, so when I got orders outside of Norfolk, she managed my condo. Over the years, she was able to always get a tenant to fill the unit. She and her team are responsive and diligent. When issues arose, she was able to promptly deal with them. I decided to sell my condo at the end of last year. Dawn and her team worked with me to get the property ready for sale, and list the unit. Once we found a buyer, the sales process was incredibly smooth. My husband and I are both military and first time homebuyers. Needless to say, we had absolutely no idea how to buy a house. Veterans United recommended Dawn and Tim to us as our realtors and they did such an amazing job. They reached out to us within just a couple hours after the recommendation. They called us and explained everything up front so we knew what to expect. My husband and I sent them some houses we’d wanted to look at and they were able to get us inside those houses within a few days. Our schedules are very busy but they worked with our time frame and we’re super flexible. They walked us through each and every step and explained everything very clearly along the way. Covid makes home buying very different. Since we first reached out and spoke with Tim we knew we had the right person to help us buy our home. 200% more than any of the other realtors were willing to offer me. Tim and Dawn are a dynamic duo. No only did they sell my home but they restored my faith in humanity. My experience with them was life-changing. I was in a really bad place with no hope for my future. I was feeling trapped and in a financial place was retirement was moving further and further away. My daughter convinced me take one more meeting with a realtor she found. The minute that I met Tim there was an instant connection. He is such a gentleman and his genuine interest in my story seemed to fuel his determination to show me the light at the end of the tunnel. He connected me with a contractor and flipped my house so I could invest in my future and bring my retirement within my grasp. He truly saved the day.

I inherited my home so I knew nothing about the process. Any and every question I had along the way was patiently answered. Never once was I made to feel a bother. In fact, Dawn and Tim were always accessible. As I reside in another state than my home, I relied on them completely. Tim went beyond being my eyes and ears to being my feet. There was a lot of virtual / Facetiming as appliances and renovation materials were selected. We re-designed the home and with the phenomenal photographer's photos. My home sold on the first showing. Along the way, I was connected with an electrician and closing agent. Dawn's expertise and knowledge of the real estate market makes her negotiation skills profound.

Once Dawn stepped in she handled everything, my only role was to sign. Of course, she explains in laymen terms all the steps and answers all the whys that I posed. When we first began looking, it was evident that both truly wanted to help us find the right home, not just make a sale. The whole team is great to work with, they have helped me with several real estate transactions over the years. Four years ago Dawn and Tim went through several iterations of my vision for a home. After showing me several properties they helped me through the closing process and made sure I had escrow money for the needed modifications as part of the deal. After getting married we needed to downsize one of our houses. We had our house for sale for months with another realtor and were getting discouraged on being able to sell it, not to mention the thousands of dollars that were being spent on paying two mortgages.
