Tina is fantastic to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable, super effective and an expert negotiator. She immediately understood exactly what I was looking for in a home and helped to set appropriate expectations so that I could get the biggest bang for my buck. She was extremely respectful of my budget and I never once felt pressured or pushed. I give her name to all my friends and family. She will be my realtor for life.

Tina is an outstanding real estate agent. Buying and selling both homes and rental properties in a few different states over the years has afforded us the opportunity to work with several good realtors. When looking for a property in FL through a 1031 exchange, we asked family and friends for references and then asked our realtor in WA to conduct screening calls with a few identified people. After screening, she recommended Tina Serfozo. Tina was excellent from the first call. She was quick to get back with us, listened well to our must haves and desires in a property. She sent us several potential listings and asked for feedback on those. She then zoned in on our needs- aAlways staying within our price point. We scheduled 2 weeks to visit the area, planning on just 1 week for the search and allowing 1 week for travel and vacation. She arranged for a number of showings each day- complete with a folder of property descriptions, which she presented at the start of each day. She mapped out the viewings and kept things well timed. Each day of viewing would end with a debrief meeting in which we narrowed our search criteria and identified the top picks of the day. After looking at the potential properties (totaling about 30 properties over the 3 days), we narrowed our interest to 4-5 properties. Tina prepared a set of comparable sales/ listings for each property. She then arranged a second showing of each of our high interest properties and we sat down and prioritized the properties for offers. Tina gave us input on the overall market which helped us come up with an offer price. Only when we asked for her input on offer price did she provide it. She did not push us to make a high offer but gave us information to determine our offer- such as time on the market, and other factors. Our offer was fair, but below asking price. Tina presented the offer in a professional manner with clear reasoning. While reluctant- the owners accepted the offer.
Tina quickly arranged an inspection. When the inspection uncovered a few significant items, she was quick to find people to provide estimates. We then presented the inspection and estimates, lowering our offer accordingly. There was some negotiation and then agreement. I believe acceptance was largely due to the supporting data that we had via the inspection and subsequent bids.
Within 1 week of starting our viewing, we had a property under agreement and a clear list of expected work and costs that were needed on the property. Tina provided us with a list of all of the contractors we would need - including short- and long-term property managers for us to contact. There were rental requirements based on the 1031 exchange as well as our desire to reduce the cost of owning a vacation property. We then went on to complete the vacation portion of our trip- resting easy that all was being handled by Tina.
We were not returning to FL until a few weeks after closing. Tina continued to follow up with all parties including the 1031, the title and us to make sure everything was in place for a smooth closing. The property closed on time, with Tina conducting the final walk through for us. We have appointments lined up when we arrive to start some of the repairs and an appointment with the property manager. We are looking forward to our new place, planning on getting kayaks as soon as we arrive!

Tina was fabulous. Strong work ethic. Great follow through. Wonderful personality. Excellent listener who quickly zoned in on what we wanted. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again if the opportunity arises.

We recently moved from out of town to Polk county and was referred by our selling agent to Tina. I had been searching the housing market for eight months and only saw three properties that peaked my interest, so you can imagine the type of client I am.... hands on and like to take the lead. I first met Tina at a home that literally just went live on the market and she was able to get us in to view it the same day it went live, and by that time there were already two offers! She handled the time sensitive situation with calmness and clarity, something I was lacking in that stressful situation. Fortunately that didn’t end up being the right home for us but it showed me how awesome Tina was in a stressful situation. She quickly set us up with an online portal where she narrowed potential homes down to specific criteria we were searching for.
It wasn’t long before we found our dream home, a custom build on two acres of peace and serenity. Tina referred us to THE BEST lender and they worked together flawlessly as a team to make sure every aspect was completed so we closed on time. The thing that stood out the most besides Tinas professionalism and patience was her communication. As I mentioned before, being type A personality I can come off as trying to take the lead but Tina respected my questions and answered everything with utmost politeness. I was blown away at how quickly she replied to me and how often she kept me in the loop with even the tiniest things. When a couple unforeseen situations arised with the home she was always optimistic and used positive language, something that is very important to a stressful event.
We are now a week settled into our dream home and couldn’t be happier how smoothly the process went. We are so grateful for Tina and her team and highly recommend her if you are searching for a home!

Tina is a true professional realtor. She identifies every detail of the process. She is a genuine problem solver and is persistent in obtaining the most correct answers to quizzical issues.

My husband and I have worked with many realtors in several states and if it were only possible to clone her and populate each state with one hundred of her, it would be a blessing.

Over the course of 3 years, my wife and I called Tina a number of times to help us buy a house and all times but one we walked away because we decided now wasn't the right time. Despite all the hours she spent sitting with us, walking through houses with us, and researching houses for us, she never lacked quality service. She always treated us as if we were serious buyers (eventually we were).

With that being said, most people always talk about how stressful and difficult buying a house is but with Tina we genuinely felt like it couldn't have gone smoother. As long as you're working with Tina, she will be all in for you. Choosing Tina as our real estate agent was the BEST choice we made, bar none. She's genuine and will truly look out for you. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed. She gave us quality information and insight while also letting us choose what's best for us. She'll fight for your best interest with the builder, lender, seller, etc.

Her experience in real estate has led to a knowledge of things that no normal buyer/seller would possibly know. Even our builder/seller was surprised at what she knew as she was informing us of things to be wary of.

PS - she remembers everything! When we first met her, we mentioned wanting to be in a particular neighborhood. At that time, we weren't able to get in. Three years later and we're in! But solely because Tina went out of her way to look back at that neighborhood when we even forgot we mentioned that to her years before!
