As a current Riverdale resident for the last nine years, Tobie Garfinkle appreciates what this special area offers in terms of its unique combination of urban convenience and small town atmosphere and beauty. Prior to Riverdale, Tobie was a long time east side resident of Manhattan. She knows and loves the city and has explored each and every neighborhood of the “Big Apple” and can help you find the perfect home from Battery Park to Inwood. She began her real estate career working for a local real estate firm in the fast paced Manhattan market.
Tobie comes to the business after many years in executive management positions in the fashion industry. She started her career at Bloomingdales and has held executive positions in large global companies including VF Corp, as well as having been a principal owner in a very successful start-up fashion company. Through these experiences, Tobie has honed many important skills, particularly the art of strong and effective negotiations. She has an eye for detail and quality whether it’s helping you prepare your home for sale, or viewing potential new homes with you. She listens and responds quickly to customers and clients regarding their individual needs and concerns. Most importantly, her customer and client focused approach delivers results.

Tobie is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), National Association of Realtors (NAR) , New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR) and Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR). She earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Rutgers University.
