Tom Smith’s dedication to the golden rule has led to countless win-wins during more than 40 years of guiding clients to success. Tom knows buying or selling a home can be a stressful experience, so he uses his industry expertise and deep local market knowledge to put his clients at ease. Born in Texas and raised in the Oklahoma Panhandle, Tom learned the value of hard work early on. Always a high achiever, in high school, he was quarterback of the football team, student council president, and active in 4H, all while working at the family farm and ranch. Every summer during college at Oklahoma State University, he paid his way by selling Bibles and reference books door-to-door, which took him all over the United States until he settled in Norman, Oklahoma, in 1974, the year he got his real estate license.

In 2000, Tom and his wife, Vivian, also a top real estate agent, moved to Sand Key in Clearwater, Florida, where he has earned a reputation as one of the area’s most knowledgeable Realtors®. His years of experience are backed by a myriad of professional designations, including Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI), Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), Luxury Real Estate Advisor, and Emeritus status from the National Association of Realtors®.

Some of Tom’s favorite pastimes are watching college football, deep-sea fishing, and taking daily walks on the beach. He is active in his community through numerous groups, including Anona United Methodist Church. He has volunteered as a Panther Pal at Ridgecrest Elementary School. Tom also actively participates in local professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the Clearwater Yacht Club, Island Estates Civic Association, Island Estates Yacht Club, and the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce.
