Our Journey to Real Estate
Our first experience in real estate began in 2002 when we decided to dive head first into rental investments as a way to save for our children’s college education… hoping to pay for them before they graduate high school. We started out by purchasing a duplex in 2002 and successfully managed to grow our real estate investments to 12 rental units. My wife was an elementary school teacher and I managed several corporate training teams. It was through years of enjoying the real estate management experiences of these properties and our love of the beach that made us decide to move to Bethany Beach and combine our two passions. We feel privileged to share our experience and expertise with you, whether it’s buying or selling a home, managing your vacation rental, advertising your rental, or managing your community. We are here to listen to your needs and help make your real estate investment successful and gratifying.

Our Experience
We have sold $150+ Million dollars worth of real estate since opening in 2012 that include 500 plus properties. We also manage 80+ rental properties from Bethany Beach to North Ocean City. Prior to real estate we were formally educated in business management, instructional design, education and multimedia development, as well as experience in roofing, flooring, plumbing, and remodeling… We have the knowledge and skills to allow us to oversee any work that is performed on your property. This combination of skills allows 1st Choice Properties to meet each clients’ needs from aspects that include client relations, marketing, budgeting, property maintenance and management. We enjoy working with customers and helping them through the varioius real estate processes.
