Wesley Humphrey

Wes believes being a real estate agent is beyond “closing a deal”. His goal is to help his clients navigate, negotiate, remain informed and levelheaded while attempting to avoid pitfalls in the real estate transactional process. He ultimately wants clients to achieve their desired real estate outcomes while building a trustworthy relationship with him along the way.

He is a native Austinite who has been raised, educated, and enriched by central Texas. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University (Business/Psychology) and met his beloved wife while working at Chuy’s just after high school. Wes spent over 20 years in various areas of health care administration and leadership in the behavioral health industry before becoming a professional real estate agent in 2013 to join an experienced and talented broker (his wife Lori) launch Goodness Realty in 2015.

He has an established history in many areas of expertise and comprehensive skills from his prior career that have transferred valuable experiences for his clients. These skills and knowledge have integrated well into his real estate education and training. He’s committed to ongoing continuing education and training that is well above the minimal licensing requirements for Texas agents. He remains informed with local housing market conditions and helps navigate clients through the ins and outs of various real estate transactions to ensure clients are represented with knowledge, integrity, and strong communication and negotiation skills in order to protect one of the most critical financial and emotional investments that individuals and families will experience.

Wes is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE®) which was earned from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute. Agents who receive this certification are among the top agents in the country in negotiation skills, which according to the National Association of Realtors, is one of the top skill sets expected by clients when deciding on a real estate agent. He’s also earned his Accredited Buyer’s Representation designation by going the extra mile to receive specialized training in delivering the best practices in buyer-representation services and competencies. As an established ABR®, clients can rest assure that they are collaborating with a qualified agent from start to finish in the buying and leasing process.

He’s an active REALTOR® and member of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and Austin Board of Realtors. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and stays involved in his professional associations. He’s a grateful husband, proud father of a teenage daughter and companion to a rescued chocolate dachshund named Bear.
