The school has good teachers for the most part but some teachers assert there power too much. However, the school does have a simple running start program that I am in.

Have a wonderful time great staff and students. 100% recommend! I love a lot better than hoquiam with a new school and three floor with elevator accessible.

A majority of the teachers at AHS are very down to earth, hard working, and encouraging people. However, at times it seems as if they lack insight to what could be going on in a students life. The amount of work given to a student in a day here is probably 5x more than what my college friends have. There are constant fights. But, There used to be no discipline and now finally it seems like some is happening. The counselors actually are here to listen to you, which I hear is a problem in near by schools and also used to be a problem here. The sports teams are all hard workers but they are run by parents. Overall average school.
