I liked that the school is a very safe environment. The teachers are mainly all super kind and helpful. There is a lacking diversity in types of classes, however. Since it is so small, there aren't a whole lot of exciting or outside-of-core classes to take part in, which kind of sucks.

It is a clean and friendly environment with excellent staff and students. It has excellent academic activities and many extracurricular activities to do outside of school. The staff is well organized and they teach you exactly what you need to know. This school is also a National Blue Ribbon school from 2014 until now. I am proud to attend Northern High School.

I liked the teachers. They were great and really got to know you as a student. I also liked the extracurricular activities that were offered, such as band and chorus. I was in chorus for 3 years and band for 4. We were chapter champions my first and last year of marching band. I also liked envirothon club. We had a great teacher. My friends wanted me to join and I never really knew what I was getting into until the first day, but I fell in love with it. Now, I know more about nature and the environment than ever before.

This school has no diversity, students are incredibly disrespectful and rude to fellow peers, bullying is never felt with, the partying atmosphere is horrific, and I don’t have enough words to describe how bad this school is. I will be transferring ASAP.
