Forest Hills Eastern Middle and High School are competitive public school options for local students. Located just outside Grand Rapids in Ada, Michigan, the stunning middle and high school building was dedicated in 2004. It offers students a modern and welcoming learning environment. Eastern Hawks can engage in several academic programs, including the Gifted Education Model, advanced placement courses and the Language Immersion Education program. These programs are just a small part of what makes Forest Hills Public Schools one of the largest and highest-rated school districts in Kent County. The Learners Initiative promotes individual potential, meaningful activities and productive lives in a global community. Accelerated learning opportunities are available for gifted students to continue to be challenged and grow. The Eastern High Hawks compete in over 20 sports across three seasons in the Ottawa-Kent Conference, including golf, tennis, water polo, football and competitive cheer. Middle school students can compete in cross country, volleyball, basketball, track and wrestling. Summer camps allow students to continue playing sports during summer break. Clubs and organizations allow students to practice real-world skills and take on leadership roles in the high school and community. Peer Listening, a student government, the National Honor Society and the vibrant Volunteer Program are just a few examples of the clubs available at Eastern High. Drama, choir, band and other performing arts add to the rich tapestry of talents and opportunities at this school just east of the Grand River.

A school culture that is not healthy for human being. Too small of a school with a toxic culture that breaks down students over 4 years. Administration select a handful of students to be treated better than rest of the student body based off bribes and grades.

This school is not for the weak, if you plan to raise your kids to have the best of the best and do everything they can to fit in, then this is the school for you! Bullying runs rampant, no real consequences for fear of litigious families. They do NOT support a zero tolerance policy on physical viol...

Grew up in the Forest Hills system, Parent was a teacher in FHPS, teachers are all pretty good. The Administration in the high schools is dismal, especially if your kid is bullied and has any social issues. They WILL NOT help. Their answer seems to be teach the victim to deal and ignore the bullies....
