This is a pretty good school. The teachers are nice and the building is nice. Overall I like going here.

The academics at the school are very good, one thing I wish that was managed better was the enforcement of the handbook. Many of the kids get away with a lot of stuff. I have seen kids snort coke off of the paper towel dispensers. All the way to give younger grade high dollar drugs such as OxyContin and Heroin.

I had a great high school experience at ABHS and I loved everything about this school. They do a great job encouraging their students to be the best upstanding citizens they can be. Each student is required to volunteer over 100 hours of community service during their senior year in order to graduate. Anything lower than a 75% here is an F, and students are held to high standards, and students meet those standards. There is great supports put in place for students to give them the best opportunity to succeed.

Better than most high schools, we are given a lot of freedom, which makes us feel trusted. Going year round really helps when it comes to remembering things from the previous year.

ABHS has a rabid Social Justice Warrior curriculum that focuses on white guilt and revisionist history at the expense of the three R's, but it's still an alternative to APS. Best for kids who wouldn't fit in at a big-box school. Good teachers for the most part, but they tend to lose their best to ot...

Choosing to attend this school has really changed my life and changed it for the better. It has put me on track to the life that I want as a college-bound student. The school is very community-based and has lots of support. The curriculum supports the community, and before, in middle school and elem...

This school has given me so much support through out the years. It is amazing, I mean you really have to stay on top of everything but if you do that, communicate with your teachers, the community and bond with them is amazing. Its a relationship that you will take with you.
