The staff is very supporting of the students & works to help the students realize their potential. The Leadership program works to support the STEM part of the school with drones, rockets & 3D printers. The program has many after school programs, such as archery, drill, color guard, PT just to name a few. The Leadership program has a curriculum that not only teaches students how to become tomorrow's leaders today, but works to build a community that supports each other.

Garfield is full of great teachers and support staff. There is an amazing variety of opportunities from Sports to Music, Basketball to Golf, and Art. It is a Magnet School that offers STEM classes and integrates the theme throughout the curriculum. It is also a Community School committed to serving the WHOLE CHILD. Despite the Stem qualification this school greatly fails in education. The family engagement is lacking and communication from Teachers is almost no existant. The school has very lax rules when it comes to safety and bullying. The redirection program does not work. The harrasement and tornment of st...
