Located just off Interstate 75 on the eastern bounds of the city, Allen Park Middle School is host to nearly 900 sixth through eighth grade students as the only public middle school in the Allen Park Public Schools district. The school was built in the 1960s and provides ample facilities for students in and outside of the classroom including soccer, football and baseball fields. In addition, the school includes an indoor pool where community programs are also available.
The school employs 41 full-time teachers and 2 full-time counselors while maintaining a student-to-teacher ratio of 22-to-1. Math and reading proficiency scores at Allen Park Middle School are roughly on par with the rest of the state, and the school boasts a 100% passing rate for students who take an Algebra 1 class during their middle school years.
Outside of the classroom, Allen Park Middle School students can engage in a variety of clubs including the PTSA and the APMS PeaceKeepers, as well as a skiing and snowboarding club, morning hockey, wrestling or basketball clubs, running club, Minecraft club, jazz band, marching band, green team and more. School dances and evening lock-ins round out the school’s social calendar.

my experience at this school has been wonderful. i absolutely love the staff and the people who go here. this is a great school to go to. you can make friends very easily and most of the kids are extremely nice. go panthers!!!
