My son is a student at Dodd in the second grade. He has been there for three years and he loves it! He works very hard and is rewarded for his achievements. The teachers and the counselor are great. However it must be impossible for them to perform their job to the fullest, with all of the road blocks that the administrator had put in place. The administrator refuses to give the students recess, or use the playground that is on the school grounds, and s...

I come from Puerto Rico where greatly emphasize spelling, writing and reading, teachers have more days off and there are no substitutes like here but really children acquire knowledge that too much to overcome U.S. education
