Amador high is a great school with very nice environment, qualified and supportive teachers, a lot of friendly people and sport are great. A lot of fun clubs and activities.

Bad teachers and super old facilities. Not many AP class opportunities either. An update to the buildings would be nice and more advanced/AP classes too.

Overall Amador was a great place to be in high school. The Staff and teachers were always so helpful. Campus was always clean. I do wish that the district would give them some funding to update some of the classrooms.

They have such a wide range of AP classes and the counselors really help you prepare for college. Also our sports are on of the top in every cat...

Fantastic! All four of my children graduated from Amador High. The staff is supportive and wonderful. The Musical Theatre program is outstanding. English Dept good. Math Dept needs help. Iverall highly recommend.

Very political place...positives: good principal, several electives offered. Negatives: the English dept, attitude of favoritism on the part of several teachers, too many teachers allow themselves to be distracted from their job by involvement in sports (as coaches).
