The best parts were all the help and support that Amherst educators would provide. One of the bad things I could think of would be how separated the school feels. I feel like the school should do better in knowing what kind of people they are hiring and also make sure that students are somehow connected.

The teachers care a lot about the education and inclusion of the students. The school offers an incredibly broad array of art electives, as well as tech and computer electives, and the science and English department are particularly strong.

Three very different kids (including one with significant special needs) all getting what they need, while having access to amazing performing arts ensembles, clubs and top-notch athletics.

My daughter is about to graduate. Currently she is doing Dual Enrollment at Greenfield Community College where she gets college credits. The program was recommended by her amazing guidance counselor who knows my daughter is very bright, but not a "traditional" student. They recognized and responded...
