Benito Juarez Elementary School is located just west of the 57 freeway on Sunkist Street, adjacent to a park with the same name. The school serves approximately 850 students from pre-kindergarten through the sixth grade and is one of the 24 schools that make up the Anaheim Elementary School District.
Juarez Elementary works to create positive and productive relationships between students, caregivers, and the community. The core curriculum incorporates science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM) and the school places a strong emphasis on students' social and emotional well being as well. There are also a number of district-sponsored programs at Juarez Street Elementary, including a unique Dual Language Immersion program in Spanish and English. Beginning in kindergarten, students are taught using a model that will enable them to think, read, write and communicate naturally in both Spanish and English. Classes are mixed with students who are both native English and native Spanish speakers. Juarez Elementary was awarded a Seal of Excellence by the California Association of Bilingual Education in 2020.
The school also offers a Gifted and Talented Education Program (GATE) that is designed to meet the academic needs of exceptionally promising students in grades three through six. Juarez Elementary also has a Parent and Family Engagement Policy that helps to facilitate and ensure that parents and caregivers play an active role in their student’s education.
Juarez Elementary also offers a YMCA-run after school program, known as Anaheim Achieves, that provides a variety of fun and engaging activities that help to reinforce the curriculum being taught to students during the school day.

Parents who volunteer at this school are parents who are not vocal and are afraid to speak up. The current community liaison only let's her favorite parents volunteer at this school.
