James M. Guinn Elementary School, located on Sunkist Street, just west of the 57 freeway and adjacent to Katella High School, serves approximately 650 students from pre-kindergarten through the sixth grade. The school is one of the 24 schools that make up the Anaheim Elementary School District.
Guinn Elementary School focuses on providing students with the skills that they will require to be exceptional, forward-thinking learners. The core curriculum incorporates science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM) and Guinn Elementary also places a particularly strong emphasis on students' social and emotional well being as well. There are several district-sponsored programs at Guinn Elementary, including a unique Dual Language Immersion program in Spanish and English. Beginning in kindergarten, students are taught using a model that will enable them to think, read, write and communicate naturally in both Spanish and English. Classes are mixed with students who are both native English and native Spanish speakers.
The school also offers a Gifted and Talented Education Program (GATE) that is designed to meet the academic needs of exceptionally promising students in grades three through six. Guinn Elementary also has a Parent and Family Engagement Policy that helps to ensure that parents and caregivers play an active role in their student’s education.
Guinn Elementary also offers an award-winning, YMCA-sponsored after school program, known as Anaheim Achieves, that provides a variety of fun and engaging activities that help to reinforce the curriculum being taught to students during the school day.

If I could give a negative score I would. They diss the parents, don't care for their education and their rudeness is beyond me. I don't get why this school keeps running the way they do.
