South was a great school academic wise, but the overall atmosphere of south is uncomfortable. I had a good friend group while attending but the experience was negatively impacted by other peoples views and behavior.

SAHS is a great school with many teachers and counselors who will do their best to help you through anything you may be going through. The teachers are very nice and most of them are great at their job. Overall great school.

South Anchorage is a relatively modern school with lots of resources. The sport programs are very quality. Sadly, not much diversity.

Failing my child…never called me and after I called continues to not reach out…I might as well quit my job and be the teacher…curious at what we are paying for…over 75% of taxes going to the school…FOR NOTHING!!!

I hate this school the only reason why I havent left for service yet is because the JROTC program is amazing and a couple of the teachers are nice and the counselors are very friendly

South High is an outstanding comprehensive public high school. The educators are professional and dedicated, and students are well prepared for further education and life.

I absolutly love South High School!! My oldest daughter is a sophmore now and she is in all honors classes and is doing great!!!! Her and her friends go to math support for lunch which is really making her grades stand out. She plays lots of sports there and it has given her so many great opportunit...
