The structure of the school is very well put together and the different facilities that handle the different subjects and pathways are very dependable and expandable. They have many different options in class and they let you take your own way to prepare for college. Some things I would change are the different policies put on students are a little harsh and the grading system could be a little more expandable considering the different difficulty of classes and subjects.

Appoquinimink is a pretty average high school. Nothing state of the art, sports are decent, and academics are slightly above average. Lots of fights occur and administrators do nothing.

The school has been great; however, since COVID they have been changing the grading policy to remove student accountability. This has caused a decline in work ethic, engagement and learning.
