Terrible facilities, terrible administration, the school is litteraly a dump. Teachers dont care about the success of their students, only their standardized test scores. The music department isn't bad though.

oh boy swanson is built different. my grandfather went there my dad went there and so did I, so pretty much its an old school and they haven’t won much to modernize it. The teachers are mid the counselors are mid. Students are below mid but the assistant principals for each grade are absolutely amaz...

What passes for "education" at Swanson Middle School is highly politicized and there is very little tolerance for viewpoint diversity.Like other district schools, there has been notably less rigor at Swanson in recent years (a trend that is likely to continue).
