I love the experiences I've had at Yorktown High School. Different cultures are promoted throughout the year. Students are able to voice their opinions through clubs and other associations. Staff and Faculty are stern but kind, and make sure students feel both welcome and safe.

I like how the people at my school are very nice, and I haven't seen a lot of bullying or anything of the sort. I like how the security and administration make sure that the rules are being followed and keep all the students accountable. However, I don't like the block schedule. I know it's commonly used, but it makes focusing and managing the workload very difficult.

Phenomenal school. My third child is there now. Rising sophomore. 2/3 with iep/504. Amazing support. Love that many of the teachers are young males who can relate to my kids. (Who also went to Yorktown). The level of classes they offer really are better than some of the private schools in the area....

Usually, I am not particularly eager to write reviews. However, I am going to make an exception for the betterment of our children's education. The school has multiple issues, such as teachers needing to be more cooperative with students and their unempathetic stance in seeing their students succeed...
