GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've had a lot of great experiences at Asbury Park High school. One of them would be meeting new people making new friends and many more. Second of my favorites experience was joining the volleyball teams where I experienced new things and also discover many hidden talents of mine. The worst parts of my experience were seeing my favorites coach stop coaching in the middle of the season where we had our first win in over 2 years and what made worst was that she wasn't there to celebrate with us or to support us. What I would like to see change is to have more programs that teaches students about different culture and histories.

There could be better equipment and the gymnasiums need a face lift.

My teachers were amazing. They offered after-school help and extra credit. They take the time to explain things to you in simpler terms. They're great with teaching you the best way you learn. I am a visual learner, so everything was hands on and shown to me.

The students can leave the classroom without permission, and be gone the whole class period. Sometimes there are students in...
