Independence is a top school in Northern Virginia and in the country. The academics, athletics and fine arts programs are consistently top notch and offer all kinds of students opportunities.

It's a wonderful school with a new, modern building and a diverse student body. They place great importance on sports activities; the teams are very successful, and the band is excellent—they often win state championships. Overall, we are very satisfied with the school.
