GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have being going to school at Southern Boone my whole life. Overall, most of the teachers are nice but there are some that teach opinion rather than facts. The sports are amazing besides the facts that the coaches pick favorites and ignore the rest of the team. I love the school spirit and pride. I do have to say that the college readiness is not good because I am now taking some dual credit classes and I realized high school has not prepared me for college.

They stay on top of their homework and test scores to make sure they succeed to their fullest potential. We wouldn't move anywhere else just to stay...

These Dual Credits, usually are transferable to schools in-state and some out-of-state schools. If a student takes all the DC classes offered they hav...
