Little Da Vinci International school, a private prekindergarten through fifth grade school in the Chastain Park area, is best known for its trilingual language program.
Little Da Vinci strives to give each learner the opportunity to enter middle school fluent in French, Spanish and English. Accredited by the French Ministry of Education, the school uses the Reggio Emilia approach of self-directed learning to give its students demanding curriculum of continuously increasing complexity.
The school also has a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, or STEAM, as well as project-based learning.
The campus sits right across from the Blue Heron Nature Preserve, a developed wildlife habitat which serves as a frequent focus of short, supervised outings, giving students real-world contact with the natural and scientific principles taught in the classroom. Students can participate in after-school programs, including robotics and coding, chess, piano, and theater.
