Atwater Elementary School is a mid-size public school in Shorewood, a suburb of Milwaukee, located minutes from Lake Michigan. Built in 1915, it was the first public school in the Shorewood School District. Excellent teachers that truly care, and a community to back them up are the reasons we chose Atwater. Extremely diverse culturally and economically. The new EL program seems to be valuable. Advanced learning dept offers enrichment in math and language arts for those who need it.

I went to these schools and returned to raised my 3 adult daughters in this system and love everything about sending my kids to Atwater and Shorewood schools. I was planning on moving out of state, but now I have a new 3 year old son and I just can't. It seems unfair to not give him the same great e...
