School was great for me, I think overall I enjoyed most of my high school experience and got a lot out of it. The teachers, students, and culture were all good. I did have some struggles with admin on occasion which was frustrating especially as a good student

My experience since freshmen year, I'm not going to lie it's not too bad but also not the best. I'm currently a junior so academically I'm drained. For the worst part I wish that the school was more open to the students or focused more on their academic wise(like more check ins) or safety. Maybe they could find more motives to keep kids going to graduate and not drop out. The food isn't the best here either and that's my opinion since some other kids have said it too. But also the best things I've enjoyed here is the amount of clubs and how much diversity we have. I like the music program so much as I'm in choir and the school is rich in the arts and music area.

Austin High School is a great school to set kids up for community college. The opportunities are few when it comes to going beyond this.

I taught for one year at Austin High School, then I resigned because it was too chaotic and out-of-control. Even the leadership of the teachers' union admitted "it's a very tough school."
