Welcome to Bee Cave Elementary School. This educational facility serves more than 750 students from kindergarten through fifth grade. It has an accountability rating from the state of 89 out of 100 and has earned a “B” grade for the 2018-19 school year. Standardized test scores show the school has 70% of students reading at their grade level or higher and 72% are proficient or better at math. The curriculum is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills guidelines and focuses on teaching the fundamentals of science, math, and more while still challenging the children academically.
Bee Cave Elementary offers music and fine arts courses and has a well-stocked library to encourage students to become lifelong readers. There’s a student council which pupils in the higher grades are encouraged to join. The council performs acts of community service as the school believes relationships between the larger community and the school are vital to the growth of both.
Bee Cave Elementary is part of the Lake Travis Independent School District, which covers nearly 120 square miles and serves over 11,000 young adults. The district provides transportation to and from campus each day for qualifying children. My child has had a wonderful experience at Bee Cave Elementary. He loves learning and feels very supported there. Zero concerns over the last 3 years with only positive highlights. He can't wait to go to school everyday.
